Deborah Baker, NP
A licensed nurse practitioner, Baker has been a nurse since 1988 when she earned an associate degree in nursing at Purdue University. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2004, and she earned a master's degree in nursing with a primary care focus in 2007. She received certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners with a primary care focus in 2008.
Baker treats patients aged 4 to 94 who have the following conditions/issues: ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, chronic mental illness, depression, developmental disabilities, gay/lesbian issues, gender issues, grief issues, OCD, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, terminal illnesses, Tourette's syndrome and women's issues.
Elizabeth "Betzy" McGee, PMHNP-BC, FNP, MS
A licensed family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, McGee received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Louisville in 1988, an associate in nursing from the Lutheran College of Health Professions in 1992, and a master's degree with a family nurse practitioner certificate from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1998. She earned a post-masters psychiatric nurse practitioner certification from Vanderbilt University in 2008.
McGee treats patients age 5 and older who have the following conditions/issues: ADHD, alcohol abuse, anger management, anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personalities, brain injury, Christian therapy, chronic mental illness, depression, developmental disabilities, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, eating disorders, ECT, gay/lesbian issues, gender issues, grief issues, HIV, men's issues, OCD, parenting, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosomatic disorders, rape/incest, schizophrenia, sleep disorders, terminal illnesses, Tourette's syndrome, trauma and women's issues.
THERAPISTS
Dave Cooper, LCSW
Cooper is a licensed clinical social worker and nationally certified family therapist and psychotherapist who has been providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples and families for more than 25 years. Cooper received a master's degree in social work in 1987 from Indiana University. He has extensive post-graduate training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, hypnotherapy and stress management. Cooper specializes in treating anxiety, crisis intervention, depression, grief and loss, panic, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, spiritual and relaxation issues and trauma.
Marcia Grant, LCSW, LMFT
A licensed clinical social worker and marriage and family therapist, Grant has been practicing professionally for almost 30 years. Her specific areas of interest and experience with children and adults are in addressing anxiety and depression, couples' and relationship issues, grief and loss, parenting skills and spiritual development. She uses a variety of behavioral, cognitive and rational emotive approaches to treat patients, based on their individual needs.
Grant received a master's in social work from Indiana University and certificates in Gestalt Therapy and Adlerian Family Life Education.
L. Chris Parker, LCSW
A licensed clinical social worker, Parker received a master's degree in social work from Western Michigan University in 1991. She also received a graduate specialty program certificate in alcohol and drug abuse. The majority of Parker's patients are adults, but she also sees adolescents and children 12 years of age and younger.
Parker treats patients with the following conditions/issues: ADHD, alcohol abuse, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, chronic mental illness, couples' counseling, crisis intervention, cultural/ethnic issues, depression, developmental disabilities, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, family therapy, gay/lesbian issues, gender issues, grief issues, HIV, marital therapy, OCD, parenting, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress, schizophrenia, terminal illness, victims of trauma and women's issues.
Teddie L. Ramsey, ACSW, LCSW
Ramsey, who has more than 40 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health services and treatment, received a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 1969 and a master’s degree in clinical social work from Indiana University in 1971. He earned a master’s of arts in pastoral theology from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 1994. He was licensed as a licensed clinical social worker in 1992, the first year Indiana offered LCSW professional status, and in 1993, he was named a diplomat in clinical social work.
Ramsey treats patients aged 4 to 94 who have the following conditions/issues: ADHD, adoption, alcohol abuse, anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, brain injury, child abuse, chronic mental illness, criminal offences, crisis intervention, depression, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, family therapy, gay/lesbian/bisexual, gender, grief (acute and complex), marital, men’s, OCD, pain management, parenting, post-traumatic stress, psychosomatic disorders, rape/incest, sexual abuse, sexual disorders, spousal abuse, trauma and the psychosocial aspects of acute, chronic or terminal illnesses.
Ramsey has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 1971 and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1973.
