Gastroenterology

Gastroenterology is the medical specialty in which the digestive system and its disorders are studied. Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, which includes organs from the mouth to the anus, are the focus of this specialty. Acid reflux, cancer, liver disorders and irritable bowel syndrome are just a few of the digestive disorders/conditions that are treated by a gastroenterologist.
